Responsible Gambling at JJ11
Gambling on jj11 should be an enjoyable entertainment activity — not a source of financial stress or personal harm. This page explains the tools, policies and principles jj11 uses to keep play safe, fair and within your control.
Our Approach
Gambling as Entertainment — Keeping It That Way
Responsible gambling is the framework that ensures betting remains a leisure activity — one you choose to participate in with money you can comfortably afford to lose. When it stops being that, it becomes a problem. jj11's entire responsible gambling programme is built around one goal: helping you stay on the right side of that line.
We recognise that for most people, placing a bet on a Pakistan vs India T20 clash or an ICC knockout match is a fun way to add some skin in the game to a sport they already love. That enthusiasm is what jj11 is designed for. However, we also know that a small number of players can develop patterns of play that cause real harm — and jj11 takes that reality seriously.
Our responsible gambling tools, monitoring systems and support processes are not checkbox exercises. They are active, functional features built into the platform. Every registered player on jj11 has access to deposit limits, loss limits, session time controls, cooling-off periods, reality checks and full self-exclusion — without needing to contact support to activate them.
The golden rule is simple: only ever gamble with money you do not need for essential expenses. Never chase losses. Never borrow to gamble. If a session is going badly, stop — not just for that bet, but for the day. Stepping away is always the right call when gambling stops feeling like fun.
Adults Only — No Exceptions
jj11 is strictly for players aged 18 or older — or the higher minimum age required by the operator's license jurisdiction. Age verification is mandatory before withdrawals are processed.
The Three Principles of Responsible Gambling
- Informed play: Understand the odds, house edge and game rules before you wager. Gambling has a built-in cost over time — do not expect to profit long term.
- Budgeted play: Set a fixed amount for gambling entertainment and treat it as spent — the same way you would a cinema ticket or a dinner out. Stop when the budget is gone.
- Mindful play: Check in with yourself regularly. Is gambling still fun? Is it affecting your mood, relationships or finances? If the answer to the last two is yes, seek help immediately.
Account Controls
Six Tools to Stay in Control
Every jj11 player has instant access to these six responsible gambling tools from their account dashboard — no support ticket required, no waiting period for most settings.
Deposit Limits
Set a daily, weekly or monthly cap on the total amount you can deposit into your jj11 account. Once your limit is reached, no further deposits are accepted until the period resets. Increases to deposit limits take 24 hours to activate — decreases take effect immediately.
Loss Limits
Define the maximum net loss you are willing to sustain in a day, week or month. When your cumulative losses across real-money bets reach that threshold, further wagering is paused until the period resets. This is separate from your deposit limit and adds a second layer of protection.
Session Time Limits
Set a maximum continuous session duration. When your session timer expires, jj11 will alert you and, if configured, automatically log you out. Time limits are particularly useful late at night when judgement can be impaired by fatigue.
Reality Checks
Enable periodic on-screen notifications that display your current session duration and your net gaming result (total wagered vs total returned). A five-minute pause to review your actual numbers is one of the most effective tools against impulsive play.
Cooling-Off Periods
Take a break from jj11 for a defined period — 24 hours, 7 days, 30 days or a custom duration of your choice. Your account is suspended for deposits and wagering during this period. You can still log in to view history and process pending withdrawals.
Self-Exclusion
Request permanent or long-term exclusion from jj11 at any time. Once self-exclusion is activated, your account is locked for deposits, wagering and promotions for the chosen period — minimum six months. Re-registration during a self-exclusion period is prohibited and any such account will be closed immediately.
Self-Exclusion
How to Exclude Yourself from JJ11
Self-exclusion is the strongest tool available to a player who feels their gambling is no longer under control. The process on jj11 is straightforward and takes effect without delay. You do not need to provide a reason, justify the decision or speak to anyone first.
Once exclusion is active, jj11's systems will block your access to deposits and wagering for the selected period. Any marketing emails or promotions will also be suppressed. Pending withdrawal requests will continue to be processed during the exclusion period.
If you need to request self-exclusion by email rather than through the dashboard, write to [email protected] with the subject line "Self-Exclusion Request". Our team will action it within two hours of receipt.

"Gambling is not a reliable way to make money. The house has a built-in mathematical edge in every game. Over a large enough number of bets, most players lose more than they win — and that is by design. Play for entertainment, not income."
Know the Signs
Is Gambling Becoming a Problem?
Problem gambling rarely announces itself clearly. It tends to develop gradually — a session that runs longer than intended, a loss that triggers an impulsive follow-up bet, a deposit made from rent money "just this once". The warning signs below are drawn from established problem-gambling research.
If you recognise even two or three of these patterns in your own behaviour, we strongly encourage you to activate a cooling-off period or self-exclusion immediately, and to seek independent support from a qualified resource.
Being honest with yourself is the first and hardest step. There is no judgment at jj11 — the responsible gambling tools exist precisely for moments like this.
Spending more than intended — Starting a session with a clear budget in mind but continuing to deposit after that budget is exhausted.
Chasing losses — Placing increasingly large bets after losing in an attempt to recover what was lost in the same session or a previous one.
Gambling with essential money — Using funds earmarked for rent, groceries, bills or family expenses (PKR amounts that you cannot afford to lose) for gambling.
Concealing gambling activity — Hiding deposits, winnings, losses or session frequency from family members, friends or a partner.
Gambling to escape emotional difficulty — Using betting as a coping mechanism during periods of stress, anxiety, depression or boredom rather than as a leisure activity.
Inability to stop voluntarily — Finding it genuinely difficult to end a gambling session, even when you intended to stop an hour or more ago.
Borrowing to fund gambling — Taking loans, asking family members for money, or using credit facilities to fund gambling activity rather than gambling from disposable income.
Neglecting responsibilities — Missing work, reducing time with family or friends in Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad or elsewhere, or neglecting personal health to spend more time gambling.
Setting Boundaries
Practical Limit-Setting Guidance
Limits work best when set before a session begins — not in the middle of one. Here is how to think about each type.
Weekly Deposit Limit
Decide your weekly gambling entertainment budget in advance — for example, PKR 2,000 per week — and set it as your deposit cap. You cannot accidentally exceed it, even on a bad night.
Net Loss Cap
A loss limit tells jj11 to pause your account once your net losses reach a threshold. Set it at an amount you are genuinely comfortable losing — not an aspirational figure.
Session Timer
Gambling sessions longer than one to two hours increase the risk of impulsive decisions. Set a session timer that matches how long you actually intend to play — not how long you might end up playing.
Cooling-Off Break
If you find yourself thinking about gambling during work hours, during family time or late at night when you should be sleeping, a seven-day cooling-off period is a healthy reset.
An Important Note on Limit Changes
jj11 applies an intentional asymmetry to limit changes: decreases take effect immediately, while increases take at least 24 hours to activate. This 24-hour reflection window is deliberate — it prevents impulsive limit increases during a losing session.
If you request an increase to your deposit or loss limit and then change your mind within the 24-hour window, you can cancel the pending increase immediately from the same settings screen.
Getting Help
Support Resources
If gambling has become a concern, speaking to a professional support resource is the most effective next step. Seeking Local Counselling in Pakistan
If you are in Pakistan and struggling with gambling-related stress or financial anxiety, speaking to a registered mental health professional — a psychologist, counsellor or psychiatrist — available in major cities can be a valuable step. Your family doctor is often the best first point of contact.
Legal Reminder for Players in Pakistan
Pakistan has gambling restrictions, including the Prevention of Gambling Act, 1977. jj11 does not claim to be licensed, approved, endorsed or regulated by the Government of Pakistan, PTA, the State Bank of Pakistan or any provincial authority.
